Cookie Policy

This cookie policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on the A.M.G. SUD website, and how you can manage your preferences, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national data protection laws.

1. Data Controller

The Data Controller for personal data collected through cookies is:

A.M.G. SUD S.r.l.
Registered office: Via I. Bordin, 62 – 35010 Cadoneghe (PD) – Italy
Operating office: Via Arno, 19 – 30030 Mellaredo di Pianiga (VE) – Italy

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites visited by the user send to the user's device (computer, tablet, smartphone), where they are stored and then sent back to the same sites on the next visit. Cookies allow the website to function correctly and to improve the browsing experience, as well as to provide statistical or marketing information.

While browsing, the user may also receive cookies from different websites or web servers on his or her device (so-called third-party cookies), which are set directly by parties other than the owner of the website visited.

3. Types of cookies used on this website

The A.M.G. SUD website uses the following categories of cookies.

3.1 Technical (necessary) cookies

These cookies are essential for the proper functioning of the website and to enable normal navigation and use of its contents. Without these cookies, the website or some of its sections may not be displayed correctly or may not work at all. The use of technical cookies does not require the user's consent, although this policy is provided for transparency.

3.2 Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users who visit the website and how it is used (for example, most visited pages, time spent on the site, navigation paths). These cookies are used to evaluate and improve the performance of the website and may be treated as technical cookies when used in an anonymised form. Where the use of analytics cookies involves the processing of personal data, it is based on the user's consent.

3.3 Profiling and marketing cookies

Profiling cookies are used to track the user's browsing on the website and to create profiles based on interests, habits or consumption choices. These profiles make it possible to display advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed during browsing. The use of this type of cookie requires the user's explicit consent.

3.4 Third-party cookies

While browsing the website, the user may receive cookies from websites or web servers other than this one (so-called third-party cookies). This happens, for example, when social buttons, embedded content, maps, traffic analysis scripts or marketing tools are integrated into the website. The use of the information collected by such third parties is governed by their respective privacy and cookie policies, to which the user is kindly referred.

4. Indicative list of cookies used

The up-to-date details of the cookies actually in use can be viewed through the cookie consent banner or via the tools provided by the browser.

5. Legal basis for processing and nature of provision

The legal basis for processing personal data through technical cookies is the legitimate interest of the Controller in ensuring the proper functioning of the website and allowing the user to browse and use the requested contents.

The legal basis for the use of non-anonymised analytics cookies, profiling cookies and marketing cookies is the consent expressly given by the user via the cookie banner. Failure to provide consent will result in such cookies not being used, without affecting the user's ability to browse the website and access its contents.

6. Managing cookie preferences

The user may change cookie preferences at any time by using the "Manage consent" button available on the website, which reopens the banner and allows the choices previously made to be modified.

The user can also configure browser settings to accept or reject all cookies, or to delete cookies already stored. The way cookies are managed depends on the browser used; below are links to the instructions for the most common browsers:

Disabling cookies via the browser may affect the proper functioning of certain sections of the website.

7. Data recipients and transfers to third countries

Data collected through cookies may be processed by parties providing technical services (for example hosting providers, companies providing analytics tools or technical components of the website), duly appointed as data processors pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR.

Where some service providers are based in non-EU countries, any transfer of data will take place in compliance with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (such as adequacy decisions of the European Commission, standard contractual clauses, and additional security measures where appropriate).

8. Rights of the data subject

As a data subject, the user may exercise at any time the rights provided for in Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability, to the extent that these are applicable to the processing carried out through cookies.

To exercise these rights or to obtain further information on the use of cookies, the user may contact the Controller using the contact details indicated in section 1 above.

9. Updates to this policy

The Controller reserves the right to amend or update this cookie policy over time, also in light of changes in legislation or the introduction of new services or features. Any changes will be published on this page; users are therefore invited to consult it regularly.
